From 13th to 17th May, 2024 , Tanzania delegation led by Tanzania Investment Center (TIC) in collaboration with Tanzania Embassy in Abu Dhabi conducted Investment Promotion Roadshow in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras al-Khaimah. The delegation compresses representative from Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA), Export Processing Zones Authority(EPZA), CRDB Bank and private stakeholders. 

The Roadshow involved various investment promotion activities which included forums/meetings with prospective investors, One-on-one meetings with companies and associations of businesses in the United Arab Emirates (Chambers) as well as site visits in the Industrial Areas to conduct meetings and learn more on what has contributed to the success of the selected sectors in all the three cities. 

According to the TIC current statistics (January-March, 2024), UAE is among the top 5 FDIs sources in Tanzania. Therefore, through this roadshow, it  is expected that UAE is going to be in the top 3 if not the leading FDI source in Tanzania.
